May you buy from the Lord gold refined in the fire [things of enduring, eternal value], that you may be rich; and white garments [the redemption of Jesus’ blood that washes our sins away], that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness [sin and guilt] may not be revealed; and may you anoint your eyes with eye salve [spiritual discernment], that you may see.
